Director / Principal Physiotherapist
Georgie Mickan
I’m Georgie, the proud founder of Focus with Form Physiotherapy. I envisioned a clinic that would empower individuals in their rehabilitation journey, and I’m a dedicated practitioner who regularly completes professional development courses to provide the best treatment for my patients.
Having diverse experiences in both public and private sectors, originally from rural Queensland, I value providing quality care. My commitment extends to rural areas, offering musculoskeletal and women's health services, and I’m actively involved in the development of women's football in Mackay, providing physiotherapy and wellness services to the Mackay BMD Cutters.
I advocate for active living to help my patients achieve their desired quality of life. Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my husband and friends, going to the gym or strolling along the beach.
I am excited to meet you at Focus with Form!

Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours, 2022.
I’m a physiotherapist with a passion for helping people move well, feel strong, and live active, fulfilling lives. I have a special interest in functional movement, CrossFit, and working with children to support their physical development and confidence.
My goal is to support each patient with the tools, education, and treatment they need to reach their full potential, whether that’s returning to sports, enhancing everyday mobility, or building confidence in movement.
I’m committed to evidence-based, hands-on care and take pride in tailoring each session to suit the unique needs of the person in front of me.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find me lifting weights, working on my own fitness, or spending time outdoors. I’m excited to be part of the Focus with Form Physiotherapy team and look forward to working with you on your journey toward better movement and health.
